WebRTC.ventures is proud to produce WebRTC Live, a webinar series about the latest use cases and technical updates to this popular coding standard for live video.
Our next episode, Using NDI with WebRTC for Broadcasting, will air on Wednesday September 9 at 12:30pm Eastern US. Lorenzo Miniero of Meetecho will join us to talk about a prototype he’s built for connecting a common broadcasting tool (NDI – Network Device Interface) with WebRTC. This is a technology gap that Lorenzo and others in the WebRTC community have observed during the pandemic, and which would allow TV producers to connect with remote guests for interviews via WebRTC instead of proprietary meeting tools. Our conversation will be based on Lorenzo’s July 2020 blog post titled, WebRTC + NDI = Broadcasters Heaven?
Each episode of WebRTC Live is about 15 minutes long and includes a guest interview, making them easily digestible nuggets of WebRTC wisdom! You can watch past WebRTC Live episodes here.
