Architecting your WebRTC Application for Scalability

WebRTC.ventures CEO/Founder Arin Sime and CTO Alberto Gonzalez will team up once again for a presentation entitled, “Architecting your WebRTC Application for Scalability.”

There are many ways to architecture your live video application with WebRTC. Open Source and CPaaS media servers are one consideration, but far from the only decision you’ll need to make. Using our team’s wide experiences working with a wide range of clients and partners, Arin and Alberto will give an update on the most popular media servers to consider. They will also dive deeper into scalability with topics such as deployment using Kubernetes/Docker, persistence when using multiple SFU/MCU servers, and optimizations available with WebRTC for better performance.

Future of WebRTC and Web3

Arin will also participate in a panel alongside Amandine Le Pape (COO & Co-Founder at Element; Co-Founder at The Matrix.org Foundation), Amber Lincoln (VP Customer Success, LiveSwitch), Jayne Mast (Engineering Manager for DevRel at Daily), Tim Panton (Co-Founder and CTO at Pi.pe), and Nikki Shum-Harden (ex-VP Marketing Subspace).

This panel about the growing importance of WebRTC to Web3 originated from Arin’s recent blog post, The WebRTC Architecture Landscape is Changing, as well as Tim Panton’s FOSDEM presentation, The Future of WebRTC.
