Accessible Telecom Development For (Almost) Everyone

On September 23, 2020, WebRTC.ventures produced our 46th episode of WebRTC Live. Arin’s guest was Alan Quayle, founder of TADHack. TADHack helps people learn about the latest Internet, IT, and Telecoms / Communications technologies; and use those technologies to solve problems that matter to them.

TADHack Global 2020 is just around the corner on October 10 and 11. Locations around the world will run in parallel over one weekend. Arin and Alan spoke about how developers can make the most of TADHack to have fun, meet cool people, and learn how they can build modern programmable communications apps. Our team at WebRTC.ventures have participated in a number of TADHacks and plan to this year, as well. We highly recommend the experience!

Alan will share the results of interesting hacks from this TADHack and beyond at the 2020 IIT RTC Conference just a few days later. The IIT RTC Conference is virtual this year – and free. We recommend it, as well!

WebRTC For The Curious is an Open Source book created by WebRTC implementers to share their hard-earned knowledge with the world. We will also talk about how Pion (the Go implementation of WebRTC) inspired this project. This all ties into the vision of making WebRTC more accessible.
